We've all heard it or said it before: "which do you like more, stingy or thuddy?" What if those weren't the only two options? In this class we'll go over how to take your play beyond this dichotomy, discussing other physical and mental scene elements you can use to feed your sadomasochist. Not sure if you like pain? This class might help you discover something unexpected -- and we'll be covering lots of techniques and scene ideas for those who want to play with impact, but maybe aren't natural-born masochists. • Motivations for non-masochists to engage in pain-based play
• Breaking down community expectations and the value of masochism
• How to move beyond the sting/thud dichotomy: a detailed breakdown of other sensations, suggested toys and techniques, and how to find what type of pain you enjoy.
• Pain processing techniques
• Using roleplay and intention
• Aftercare considerations & scene preparation for bottoms (physical, mental and emotional)
• Considerations for tops (how to encourage and get the best from your partner, without setting them up for a fear of failure)
